塩釜商工会議所では、塩竈の魅力をさらに発信するため、オリジナルストラップを製作しました。みなと祭花火の写真を絵柄に使用し、塩竈の新たなお土産品として、また、歴史・文化の掘り起こしていただく機会として、お使いだてください。

　「鳳凰、はばたく」

日本三大船祭りに数えられる、塩竈みなと祭。昭和23年、戦後の産業復興への願いと、市民の活気を取り戻すことを目的に開催されたのが、はじまりです
祭りの前夜祭では、約8,000発の花火が、大勢の観客を魅了します。当商品で、その花火とともに写るのは、御座船の鳳凰丸です。鹽竈神社の御神輿を乗せて、約100隻の供奉船とともに、松島湾内を巡ります。

The Shiogama Minato Festival is said to be the Three Great Ship Festival in Japan. After the war, in order to restore the liveliness of the city, it began in 1949. At the eve, about 8000 fireworks attract the audience. The one with the fireworks is the charter of the Imperial boat. Take the portable shrine of Shiogama Shrine and go around Matsushima Bay with about 100 service ships.

 

　「流鏑馬神事」

鹽竈神社の流鏑馬神事は、室町時代、留守職・伊沢家景が三頭の馬を鹽竈神社に献じて流鏑馬を行い、部下の士気を高めたのが始まりと伝えます。
鹽竈神社の別宮・左宮・右宮それぞれに一頭の馬をたて、三人の騎手が三つの的を次々と射抜いてゆきます。
矢が的に的中することは除災招福の瑞祥とされております。
毎年7月の第2日曜日に行われています。

Horseback archery　at Shiogama Shrine
This ritual began in the Muromachi period. It was done to raise the morale of the samurai. Three riders shoot three targets one after another.
It is considered that the arrow hit in a row is the birthplace of disaster relief invitation.
It is currently taking place on the second Sunday of July.
